Last week I viewed the "Loose Change" video. I have always been a little skeptical of the conspiracy theorists, just because if September 11th was a conspiracy it would have had to involve so many people you would think word would have slipped out. This is not to say, however, that I ever believed the government's official version, either, so I watched. The hour-plus long documentary, which is superbly documented and researched, and very well produced, offers evidence of a government conspiracy to wage terror on the American people and blame a nefarious adversary in order to further a conservative agenda of "New World Order". The evidence comes by way of government documents, eyewitness testimony, and video and still pictures of the attacks. I found myself sitting at the computer shaking my head in disbelief, wondering how we could all be so gullible to have bought the official version of events. Even if one tenth of "Loose Change" is true, well people, we are in a world of hurt. I urge everyone to watch it, and let me know what you think....

I was about ready to recommend "Loose Change" to you after seeing your entry entitled, "911 Commission Distrusted the Pentagon Story." Then I did a search of your blog and found this entry. It is short, succinct and hard to deny. Very well written. Like you, I initially didn't believe our government would have done this, but certain web sites changed my mind, and "Loose Change" (both the first and second editions) put the final nail in the coffin of the "official lie" for me.

Might I also recommend What's the Truth? How Indeed Did the Twin Towers Collapse? It covers most of the same topics as "Loose Change, 2nd Edition," but in a different way. They are apples and oranges, in my opinion, and so cannot really be compared. "What's the Truth?" presents evidence (some not seen in LC) in a way that may not have been obvious before. The speeches given by certain 9/11 investigators, activists, and one victim's family member in the second half of the film may either be somewhat dull or a bit over the top (for those wanting just the facts), but don't stop watching, because more evidence appears in between and afterward. If you decide to watch it and don't like it, you are welcome to let me know. I certainly won't be offended.
Finally, are you aware that "Loose Change, Final Cut" will be released in the next month or so? It is supposed to be ready and actually aired in some theaters on September 11, 2006 (I hope it doesn't fall through).
