Rep. Bob Allen Splains it All

It makes perfect sense. Former Florida Co-Chair for McCain and current State Rep. Bob Allen offers a perfectly good explanation for his astounding arrest last month for offering to perform the job we call blow on an undercover cop in a public men's room AND pay him $20 for the honor...he was scared!

"This was a pretty stocky black guy, and there was nothing but other black guys around in the park," Allen, who is white, told police in a taped statement after his arrest. Allen said he feared he "was about to be a statistic" and would have said anything just to get away.

It makes sense, though, who among us hasn't been in the same situtation, frightened by a large black man, and offered to perform services and pay to do so?
