Bush Vetos Expanding Stem Cell Research

Too stupid to really be President can't wrap his brain around the concept of saving actual lives, not just hypothetical ones.

  1. At one time your little darling was a hypothetical one, would you have given her up to save another life. My guess is not.

  2. For the record I am the mother of four children and strongly advocate the use of embryonic stem cells for medical research. We are not talking about the use of fetuses for medical research, we are talking about cells. And the cells in question are embryos that will never come to fruition as human life, but by products of reproductive medical services, that would be destroyed and discarded otherwise. Does it not make sense to use these cells to save lives and further medical research? Which is more conserving of human life? I believe it is the obstructionists that are playing God with human life.

  3. "This bill would support the taking of innocent human life in the hope of finding medical benefits for others," Bush said after rejecting calls that he change his policy. "It crosses a moral boundary that our decent society needs to respect."

  4. Bush show tremendous audacity to talk about crossing moral boundaries that decent societies need to respect, it is not moral to wage war on a country that did not attack us, it is not moral to impose fundamentalist religious beliefs on a multicultural, multifaith society. It is not moral to pit good citizens against each other. It is not moral to turn your back on scientific and medical advancements that could save millions for countless generations for the sake of discarded cell tissue.

Oh do you know why hillbillies don't believe in evolution? Because it hasn't reached them yet.

  5. Liberals never seem to disappointment me when they are backed into a corner, once that happens they go into the defensive mode of name calling to try and defuse the debate.

What in the hell is a hillbilly? the Icon of the Democratic party was a Hillbilly non other than Bill Clinton, in fact just about 50% of this great countries Presidents have been Hillbillies as you put it, what does that have to say for the rest of you?

Give me one country that has prospered by this thingy you call multi-culrureism, is it France? is it the UK?, give me one good example.

  6. You probably have me pegged as a sushi-eating, tree-hugging, latte-sipping urban yuppie liberal and you are right (though at present I live in the mountains). Bill Clinton is AN icon of the Democratic Party, not THE...we have quite a few. What is a hillbilly? Well for me it is someone who embraces the reactionary garbage spewed by the likes of Michael Savage, who think Bush is a genius, and who refuse to consider that any other point of view, religious, political or otherwise, has any validity. See the post "Signs you are a Fundamentalist Christian" below...

  7. Let me tell you what a Hillbilly is to you, it is someone with southern roots and someone who you think is stupid, has nothing to do with Michael Savage, Goerge Bush, or anyone else, it has to do with your up-bringing and the stupidy of the parents that raised you, so do not piss down my back and tell me it is raining.

  10. Cara-

I owe you an apology. That piece of shit that's trolling you got here from your post on my blog.

It's been trying to troll me since bu$hmeriKa Part 1 and bothers just about everyone who makes an appearance on my blog.

Its a sixty plus lonely old "man" that puts up vanity pictures of itself in cowboy outfits and tries to put on its coolest and toughest look for the camera. Hilarious really.

Its not allowed to post on my blog any more and your best bet is to delete/ignore it. I did the back & forth with it for a while and quickly learned the error of my ways. It's very illiterate anyway & is verbally a lot like its master, the emperor wannabe and the most excellent Lord duh-bya.

I moved your blog up into my reciprocationg section, btw. We were on a mini-vacation when you posted. Thanks for the link & the kind words! Keep up the good work here! :)

  11. Chuck, Thank you so much, and no worries. It is very interesting to learn about olerockytop's proclivities. In my mind he looked and sounded like the little old queen from Will and Grace, Karen's nemnesis, about 4 and a half feet tall, deep southern accent and deeper denial. Your little information did nothing to put off that image, and I think I would probably pay good money to see these vanity shots (are the cowboy suits sequined?)

You made my day hon, thanks again!

  12. I love Left Wingers they are so sensitive, everything they say they think they are telling the truth, take ole' Chuckie he posted so many varations of one post that he actually believes the shit that he puts out......give the guy the facts and he will not post it....right chuckie.

Left wingers never like the facts, once given to them they will try and defuse the debate by name calling or try to insult the person who has proven them wrong....it has to be tough dealing with a mental disorder called Liberalism.

One of their best stories is that Bill clinton was Impeached for getting his helmet polished by Monica, now we know what the truth is, the man was impeached for purgery.

I had a little debate with a left winger at work, the man started throwing out one lie after another, I said to him, look If you do not like Bush's policies, say that, I can respect your opinion, say you do not like the man, again I can respect what you are saying, but when you start putting out bull-shit give me the facts, like where did you get your info, when asked to do that the dipshit mumble under his breath.... I am sure he called me a name because he was put on the spot and could not produce......typical Liberal...left winger.....Just to give you an example of what this person said...he said Richard Nixon should apologize for Viet Nam....I go what......I said the war was on when Nixon took over and the person that should apologize was LBJ for his lying on the Gulf O Tonka...then the man said Kennedy apologized for the Cuban Missle Crises...I said you have to be out of your mind...no American President that has any salt would ever apologize for something they never started....See Liberalism especially Left Wing is a MENTAL DISORDER...OTHER WISE THEY ARE FRIGGEN CRAZY...

  17. Nope, you got me there, Hemingway. I can't write like dat. I think maybe if I took a page from the Rocky School of Literature and Political Science I could sit up all night drinking and cleaning my guns, weeping about my repressed sexuality and shameful behavior I might get close. Here is my suggestion, it might make your life a lot happier. You seem to have a lot of bottled rage, and I suspect you have issues with your mother, clearly you hate women. You may or may not even know who your father is but perhaps you should ask your uncle. Deal with the business close to you, and get the emotional baggage unloaded. Perhaps YOUR blog would be an appropriate forum for your rage and crazy talk. Whatever. But don't try to sell crazy here, we are all stocked up.

  19. The Gulf of Tonkin Incident was a pair of alleged attacks by North Vietnamese gunboats on two American destroyers, the USS Maddox and the USS C. Turner Joy, in August of 1964 in the Gulf of Tonkin. Later research, including a report released in 2005 by the National Security Agency, indicates that the second attack did not occur while also trying to dispell the long-standing rumor that U.S. President Lyndon Johnson had knowingly lied about the existence of the incident.

The implication of the incident was the passage of the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution which granted the President authority to assist any Southeast Asian country whose governments were jeopardized. This was used as legal backing by Johnson for introducing American troops in the Vietnam War.

    [edit]
    Background
The Vietnam War had begun in the late 1950s with the Hanoi-backed National Front for the Liberation of Vietnam carrying out attacks against the Saigon government of South Vietnam. The U.S. provided support to the South in the form of aid and a number of military advisors that grew from 600 at the start to 16,000 at the end of Kennedy's presidency in 1963.

The Tonkin incident occurred during the first year of the Lyndon B. Johnson administration — less than a year after the Kennedy assassination. While Kennedy had originally supported the policy of sending "military advisors" to Vietnam in an "advisory role", he had begun to change his thinking and shortly before his death in November 1963, he had begun limited recall of American forces. Johnson's views had been likewise complex, but had supported escalation in Vietnam as a means to challenge Soviet-Communist expansion in a policy called "containment". After Kennedy's death, Johnson would order more forces to support the west-allied South Vietnam government, beginning the United States' protracted presence in Southeast Asia.

According to the U.S. Naval Institute,[1], a highly classified program of covert attacks against North Vietnam had begun under the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1961 and in 1964 the program was transferred to the Defense Department under the control of a cover organization called the Studies and Observations Group (SOG). For the maritime part of the covert operation, Nasty-class fast patrol boats were purchased quietly from Norway. Although the personnel in the boats were South Vietnamese, approval of the plan came directly from General William C. Westmoreland in Saigon. After the attacks began, Hanoi lodged a complaint with the International Control Commission (ICC), which had been established in 1954 to oversee the terms of the Geneva Accords, but the United States denied involvement. Four years later, McNamara admitted to Congress that the US ships had in fact been cooperating in South Vietnamese attacks against the North. The Maddox, however, was not directly involved in these attacks.

Now you have the info to go and buy your kid one of them trucks....don't be coy with me you knew exactly what I was talking about...but excuse me you Liberals have to have someone else to do your thinking for you...right.......
